The Geography and Climate of Melo's Landmasses and Waterbodies

Melo is extremely similar to Earth in many regards. It has a Nitrogen-rich atmosphere, is mostly covered in water and has a protective magnetosphere. Likewise, as it was terraformed by humans, Melo has a very similar climate to Earth, albeit with a few differences.

Melo has a much smaller axial tilt than Earth, being around 14.5 degrees. Because of this, Melo's Tropical zone is much wider than Earth's own. Likewise, Melo has an orbital inclination of 15 degrees, meaning that throughout the year, temperatures may increase and decrease as the dwarf planet travels along its orbit.

Map of Melo, and its landmasses

Melo has three continents; Edla (Left), Revo (Top Right) and Zurva (Bottom Right). Likewise, there are many island chains around Edla and Zurva.

Map showing Melo's landmasses

Around the Equator, the climate for most landmasses is somewhat arid and dry, thus it usually have grasslands and a few deserts within this region. A bit further South and North, tropical rainforests and woodlands are dominant, while even further North/ South usually transitions to Temperate woodlands and grasslands. Likewise, the extreme Northern regions of Revo is mostly tundras and Taiga.
